Yosef Mountaineer

Yosef is the mascot of Appalachian State University. He represents the "spirit of the Mountaineers" and is a symbol of the university's athletic teams. Yosef's name is an abbreviation of "yourself" in mountain slang, symbolizing that if you have a heart filled with App State's black and gold spirit, you are Yosef.
